cowboy hat girl
Heading to the NE to see the leaves change in Vermont, but starting and finishing in Boston. Get in late on 10/7 and leave bright and early 10/11. Need help with bidding on 10/7 and 10/10. Need 2 rooms and will have a car to park. I'm worried that it is a busy time. Per hotel.com the Hyatt Harborside is $342 :) for 10/7Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
As you may win different hotels and at different prices, and rates may be different for each nite, let's designate this thread for 10/7 and please start a new thread for 10/10. This also enables us to manage the board better by having one win per thread and also allows us to put the names of hotels won in the topic line.Did you have a maximum bid and star level in mind? cowboy hat girl
Since I saw others getting the Hyatt Harborside for $50, I was thinking that sounded good to me. But after checking hotel.com, Expedia and Travelocity for that day; maybe I will have to go to around $100. Link to comment
thereuare
The above is rated 4* by Priceline so i assume that is what you want to try for. When bidding 4* you have three re-bid zones avialable. This is how i would begin:Select 4* Revere-Logan...Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone#1 and...Bid $70.If that is rejected close that browser and re-access Priceline however you did previously.Select 4* Revere-Logan and re-bid zone#2...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone#1 and...Bid $85.If that is rejected close that browser and re-access Priceline however you did previously.Select 4* Revere-Logan and re-bid zone#3...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone#2 and...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone#1 and...Bid $100.This will systematically take you up to your $100 maximum bid.Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
