Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Boston (Copley Square-Theatre District) Sheraton

I apologize in advance for asking this question, but I have a limited amount of time to get this done. I am trying to find a nice 3*+ hotel in Boston (Boston Waterfront - Convention Center, Copley Square - Theatre District, or Quincy Market - Faneuil Hall - Financial District) for the night of May 2nd. I have a rough idea of the hotels, but my bidding strategy isn't working. Did I mention that i'm cheap? :)

I have been bidding in the $80 - $100 range but I haven't hit yet.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's not strange if you don't hit. Prices are really high for the zones you're bidding in. Looking at HOTWIRE i see a 3.5*/$129 and a 4*/$150 in the Back Bay-Copley Square zone. Take a look at HOTWIRE, this will give you a clue about prices for the diffrent zones.

How high have you been bidding and what is your maximum for the diffrent star levels? Feel free to post with any question.

I definitely understand being on budget, but unfortunately, Boston's more than a little pricey at times in terms of hotels. Given the HOTWIRE prices, you don't appear to be too far off; possibly try a PRICELINE bid for $105 for a 3.5* in the Back Bay/Copley area?

Here is the update.

My bid of $105 was accepted at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, that is a 3.5 Star hotel in the Copley Square - Theatre District.

The Sheraton Boston website lists the lowest price per night as $259 / night.
