kvalent Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 I just won a bid for the Gaylord Palms Resort using the PRICELINE link on this site. I started my bidding at $59 and incrementally increased my bid $2-3 by adding additional zones until a bid of $81 was accepted. I was given the option to extend my stay for the same nightly rate. The total cost on Priceline was $99 with tax. (Assuming I matched the amenities and location correctly, this booking was $11 cheaper than the total cost on HOTWIRE ($110 with tax) to obtain the same room for the same date.) WPBdiver Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 This is a great rate for this property. If you haven't been here before, know that the desk is fairly accomodating at moving you around to the different sections of the resort if you don't like your room. I personally enjoy the rooms overlooking the interior courtyards. Be aware that there is a resort fee at this property not included in your PL rate (can't recall what it is). Also definitely self-park here as the valet option is quite expensive. You will want a rental car to get around despite the availability of any shuttle to maximize your enjoyment.
