I am taking a short April break trip with my 13 year-old. Second stop is Boston for some sightseeing (Museum of Science, New England Aquarium, Fenway Tour) and just some relaxing with the kiddo.

I tried last night for a 4* downtown and think I was undervaluing the properties. I worked my way up to $75 using several free rebids before running out of options.

I spent some time today browsing the forum, hotel lists, and PARKING FEES! :) I tried the Brookline area angling to get the Marriot there and got to $75 again. The rebid strategy was more limited for 3*. Didn't want to end up where I didn't want to be.

I saw the information about the Hilton Dedham and debated about working with that property. I finally decided to go for it since I used to live in the area, it is an easy commute into the city, appears to be a real nice property, and has FREE PARKING. We can either take the train into the city or drive in (which would be a nice memory jog as I made that drive so many times while living there) and park.

I bid $45 and was rejected.

There was one free rebid option using Stoughton I believe, so I bid $50 and crossed my fingers. $50 was accepted and I am set for my rooms for this trip. The going best rate is $109/$93 AAA so I am happy with the results.
