4* in Saint Petersburg Beach is for April 21-24. When I put in April 21-23 the price was $85.00. Thanks in advance for your help.

When I researched this area,the only 4* in St Pete Beach are the Tradewinds Grand Resort and the Don Cesar Hotel. I would bet it is the TWG since the Don Cesar rarely comes up. We've stayed at the TWG 3 times and really enjoyed it.

Thanks. Naturally, I would like the Don Cesar. I was hoping since the hotel isn't listed with a spa, it might be the Don Cesar. Any thoughts on this?

I belive that you don't have listed all amenities for the hotel. If you go back to HOTWIRE and click the CONTINUE button next to this offering and then click the "See all amenities" link under the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed above?

As you suggested, I just linked to Hotwire and the price for the four star hotel in St. Pete beach for 4/21-4/24 has changed. It is now listed at $84.00 a night.

As I had indicated, the amenities for the hotel are as follows (in the same order):

Resort

Beach

Fitness Center

Pool

Restaurant

Business Center

High Speed Internet

Tennis

No other amenities are listed.

Do you think it's the Don Cesar or the Tradewinds?

The Tradewinds Grand Island is showing on the Vacation Package side with: 4*, Resort, Beachfront, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-speed Internet Access, Tennis Nearby, Spa Services, Children's Activity Program

Thanks so much. I didn't realize that you could get more amenities by clicking the continue button. You are right. It's the Traidwinds because it has the spa and children's program. I think I'm going to wait a day or two to see if the Don Cesar pops up.

I didn't want the Tradewinds and was able to get a great corporate rate at the Vinoy through my husband's company. More expensive than the Tradewinds, but worth every penny.
