bobcook54 Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 When I researched this area,the only 4* in St Pete Beach are the Tradewinds Grand Resort and the Don Cesar Hotel. I would bet it is the TWG since the Don Cesar rarely comes up. We've stayed at the TWG 3 times and really enjoyed it.

I was hoping since the hotel isn't listed with a spa, it might be the Don Cesar. Any thoughts on this?

If you go back to HOTWIRE and click the CONTINUE button next to this offering and then click the "See all amenities" link under the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed above?Yellowdog.

It is now listed at $84.00 a night.As I had indicated, the amenities for the hotel are as follows (in the same order):ResortBeachFitness CenterPoolRestaurantBusiness CenterHigh Speed InternetTennis No other amenities are listed.Do you think it's the Don Cesar or the Tradewinds?

It's the Traidwinds because it has the spa and children's program. I think I'm going to wait a day or two to see if the Don Cesar pops up.
nidachti Posted September 18, 2009 Author Report Posted September 18, 2009 I didn't want the Tradewinds and was able to get a great corporate rate at the Vinoy through my husband's company. More expensive than the Tradewinds, but worth every penny.
