gti303 Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 Hi All,First of all, thanks for such a great forum. I've been surfing here the past 2 days and what the Mod's do here greatly supports us travelers, both financially, and giving good general travel advice!Anyways I'm going to NYC for the first time ever April 22-29th (4 of us, 2 rooms 2 per room). The main purpose of this trip is to eat eat eat...I've booked restaurants for all my lunches and dinners for the duration of my trip already; that being said...7 of the restaurants I've booked is around the South Central Park area...hence I would really like to stay in SCP. This is what I've done on Priceline thus far:4* SCP @ 125 4* SCP, Chelsea @ 1354* SCP, Chelsea, MSG @ 1504* SCP, Chelsea, MSG, UES @ 165All rejected...should I wait until tonight? or suck it up and try MTW?I currently have the Roosevelt booked at $149 a night...but I'd rather stay at a nicer hotel...a lot of Trip Advisor pics on the Roosevelt looks horrible, and its not close to where I want to be anyways. Thanks in advance!
yellowdog Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 Before moving on to bid for the MTW zone. Take a look at HOTWIRE for your preferd area.Yellowdog.
