Priceline Hotel: Aruba in May

Hi,

I'm looking at a trip to Aruba 5/9-16 2009. I'd like some advice on booking with priceline.

It looks like the star ratings are only one 3* and the rest are resorts.

So based on this, I should start my first bid on a 3.5* rating? Is that correct?

I do not see any mention of resort fees on the hotel websites, do Aruba hotels charge resort fees?

Not sure what to use as my opening bid as I saw pricing on regular priceline starting at 199 for the westin. Hotwire had a 4* for 132 which I think was the Westin.

Any advice?

never mind -- not going to Aruba after all... going to stay in the states this time. Moving on to the Florida forum.
