cjlo123 Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Hi, I'm trying to figure out what this is. From reading other posts it looks like the Sheraton but there's no spa as an amenity in the list so I'm a bit confused:4 Star Downtown Toronto West $93 Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Highspeed Internet Access. Also there was 89$ four star in Downtown Toronto East Smoke free rooms, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center, high speed internet access, Tennis near by and spa.Help!!

"Airport Shuttle" for a Toronto downtown hotel sounds unusual for Hotwire contracted hotels; it is quite a ride of ~20-30' drive; it must be a fee shuttle. :>)Also I'm curious, which date are you looking at? The rate seems to be higher than that of Apr/May dates.
AaronJB Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Welcome to the site. Which dates are you looking at?
cjlo123 Posted April 14, 2009 Author Report Posted April 14, 2009 Welcome to the site. Which dates are you looking at?Thanks, its june 17 to 21st.i know I had never seen airport shuttle before, but that's what it says... I wrote the amenities exactly as they are listed.
yellowdog Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 cjlo123the 4* Downtown Toronto East. Is a match for Westin Harbour. I'm sorry to say that i can't help you with the 4* Downtown Toronto West. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase, and let us know how it goes.Yellowdog.
tilepusher Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 My best guess for the 4* in Downtown Toronto West is the Hyatt Regency Toronto. Its listing on Expedia does show "airport transportation (surcharge)" as an amenity. The hotel has only been open for about two months (it used to be the Holiday Inn on King), which might explain why this hotel hasn't been reported here before.

I called the hotel first to ask about the special rate for conference attendees and it was 217 a night per room! If this is actually the hotel then that would be a pretty amazing deal.Unfortunately we can't book it just yet but when I do in a couple of weeks I'll let you all know how it panned out. If anyone believes its a different hotel please advise. Thanks!!!!

I'm well aware but my hands are tied sadly. You might see me here asking about another place in two or three weeks haha.
CycloneHog Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 I posted a couple weeks ago about the same place. I was looking at some August dates and came across this downtown hotel with an airport shuttle. I had no clue which hotel it was identifying.
cjlo123 Posted April 17, 2009 Author Report Posted April 17, 2009 So I ended up getting an amazing deal via Travel Zoo directly with the Hyatt so I didn't end up using HOTWIRE and can't confirm the result. Thanks for all your help though! However, the price ended up being almost the same as what Hotwire was so I have a feeling it was a correct guess.
