thehabs25 Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 I am looking at a 4-start central strip hotel for July 23 to July 26th. The rate is saying $93 per room a night. Amenities include: Casino, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Golf Nearby, Spa Services.Trip Advisor rating is 4 out of 5. 1660+ reviews.Any ideas as to which hotel this is? I am hoping to get planet hollywood. Thanks!
yellowdog Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Best guess for this hotel would be Treasure IslandPlease use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase, and let us know how it goes.Yellowdog.
thehabs25 Posted May 12, 2009 Author Report Posted May 12, 2009 Hi,I am looking to book a hotel, preferably Planet Hollywood for the dates July 23-26. What are some tips you recommend so I can get this hotel and get it at a price less than $100 a night hopefully. I need 1 room with two double beds. Thanks,Jorge
thereuare Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Please follow-up your previous Hotwire Seattle thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay... then bump this thread and we'll have a look at the above. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. thehabs25 Posted May 12, 2009 Author Report Posted May 12, 2009 Thanks for your help. I replied to my previous Seattle post with my comments about my booking for that stay. As for this stay, I don't see planet hollywood as an option for Hotwire, so I'm hoping I might be able to get PH with priceline.com. Some advise as to what strategy I should try would be great. Thanks!
AaronJB Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 I wouldn't recommend using either PRICELINE or HOTWIRE if you are set on a particular hotel, as that can very easily lead to disappointment (especially with PRICELINE) if you got a different hotel instead.
thehabs25 Posted May 12, 2009 Author Report Posted May 12, 2009 thanks for the help. I'll start looking at what deals i can get directly and with other travel sites. if i change my mind i'll come back here and let you guys know.
thereuare Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 If you do book the Planet Hollywood direct please use our Sheraton link (who handles the booking for Planet Hollywood) to begin your purchase. However, for a similar price as booking direct, or for just a bit more than the 4* hotel you're looking at above, would you prefer to stay at a 5* property such as the Wynn? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

We ended up booking directly with the hotel since they had a promotion that they offered at that time. Sorry for not replying to this thread.
