irmedyt Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Was looking at first for hostels in the region after a few were highly recommended, but decided to try Priceline bidding for a hotel of comparable price. Based on other posts for Berlin, tried 50/night at first, which was rejected...then added another zone w/o 4* and bid 55, which was accepted.Total price for two nights after fees was $135, which is only a $20 savings from booking outright on the site right now (it is listed as a 'fee chop' special), but that $20 could be used for transportation, and it is the same price as the hostel would have been. Thanks to other posters for all the help!
