whynotgo Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 I followed the results of the other posters. For 3.5* in TS, $95 was not enough, but $96 was enough. This was my first Priceline bid.I used the PRICELINE link to start the bidding.Edit: thereuare, can you mod the title to add the dates 05/03/09 to 05/04/09 (I typed the information, but somehow it got lost, I am new at this)
AaronJB Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 Congratulations on your success! :)Looks like another great win for this property - and certainly a very reasonable rate as Times Square goes in the Spring. Thank you for sharing your results with the board.A big thanks for using the site's PRICELINE link, as well.Enjoy your stay.
whynotgo Posted May 3, 2009 Author Report Posted May 3, 2009 Follow upI checked in today at 1 pm (three hours early), was given a room on the 18th floor. The room has a nice big bed, large desk, 42 inch tv, electronic safe, wireless internet (you need to sign on using your name and room number), a nice bathroom, a sitting chair, a large dresser, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. The room is not small by NYC standards. The carpet has a few stains. In short, a really good hotel for NYC. Based upon the reviews, I expected a bad hotel, but this is not the case. For $96, this is a real bargain.
thereuare Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 Glad you're enjoying yourself and the property is exceeding your expectations. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
