NOLA Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 First bid was for 4 star Times Square district only at $120---rejectedIt made me add another area or change star level on next bid so I chose 3.5 and left bid at $120I got the Sheraton on 51st st. This is the one hotel out of the 3.5 and 4 stars that I didn't want, so Iam disappointed. But I took the chance so I have only myself to blame. I will try to console myselfwith the fact that $120 is a great price for midtown Manhattan--I guess due to the economy prices arelower right now.
AaronJB Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 Thank you for sharing your results with the board. Sorry to hear that you got what you weren't looking for, but you did get a very good rate, and hopefully the hotel will exceed your expectations.Thank you for using the site's PRICELINE link to start your bidding, as well.Enjoy your stay.
NOLA Posted June 11, 2009 Author Report Posted June 11, 2009 Just wanted to say that I'm at the hotel right now and it's great. I originally wanted to be right in the middle of Times Square but I think I prefer ithere better--just a little out of the center. The room is much larger than I thought it would be and I would be happy to stay here again in thefuture.
