i14sailor Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 Hey everyone I am looking at booking a hotel in June (hopefully the Wyndham Rio Mar) and wanted to know if I will run into any problems if I show up with 4 people during check in? I know hotwire allows me to select the number of guests but I was not sure how this will work when bidding through priceline and specifically in Puerto Rico.By the way AMAZING site I have learned so much and will definitely use the PRICELINE link when bidding! Already used the HOTWIRE link when booking a hotel in Halifax. Thanks for all the hard work.
AaronJB Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 Welcome to the site. Thank you for using the site's link to book the Halifax hotel, but it would be appreciated if you could also post the details of that win in the folder for that area on the forum so that others can be helped by your info.As is noted on the PRICELINE bidding page, Priceline reservations are only guaranteed for 2. If you show up with four adults, you are not guaranteed 2 beds. The hotel may grant your request for two beds, but it's completely up to the hotel and they would have the right to say no. It's this way with PRICELINE in Puerto Rico or anywhere.
