Hi All,

i am new to your forum so be kind :)

I am from Scotland and will be coming over to Nova Scotia this coming August for 14 nights, basically i am going to attempt to use priceline for most of my accom needs.

My main concern is there are 4 of us me and the misses and our two children aged 12 & 15 years, how can we be sure that the rooms we are bidding for will accomodate all of us.

Cheers

PRICELINE does not guarantee more than 1 bed per room. If you are a party of 4, then your best bet would be to use HOTWIRE for hotels.

Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase/s on HOTWIRE, and let us know if you have questions.

Hi ,

thanks for the quick reply , i am sure you are right better sticking with Hotwire for guaranteed room size.

Having looked at the Hotwire site for Halifax ,i was surprised to see that the 4 star works out cheaper than the 3 and 3.5 star hotels ,how come.

Cheers

Your much better off getting two rooms, the only way a hotel would accommodate that number of adults is a standard room with 2 double beds. I've stayed at the Halifax Marriott, it's a nice hotel but the rooms aren't huge I doubt you would enjoy such a long stay in such cramped conditions. Halifax hotels aren't usually that expensive, so 2 priceline rooms will probably still be cheaper than one large room direct.

Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread.

Congratulations on you win and thanks for sharing it with the board!

Glad to see you are happy with the result.

Can you confirm the dates of this stay?

Enjoy your stay.

You've picked a great time to be here ...

The westin is within walking distance of most things and August weather should be fine. Let me know if you need a quick list of things to see when here.
