farrisfam
I am seeing a new listing for a 4* Waikiki Marina Area with these amenities:ResortBeachFitness PoolRest.Business CenterH S Internetand GolfMy dates are July 9 - 11Would hope it would be Hilton H Village but not sure...It doesn't really match any listings on the forum...I want an oceanfront....can you upgrade once you get the hotel you want thru Hotwire? Is it worth the hassle? Link to comment
yellowdog
If you go back to HOTWIRE and click the CONTINUE button next to this offering and then click the "See all amenities" link under the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed above?Yellowdog. Link to comment
farrisfam
Yes! I never thought of that! Tennis, SPA and Childrens activities are on there.....Thanks for the tip! Link to comment
yellowdog
Here's the deal. I think i know what hotel it is. But i can't get it comfirmed since we don't have the specific name "marina zone" on the boards hotel list. I belive that this zone also got another name but i don't know Hawaii very well. So i don't want to post any hotel name since i'm unsure on the zones.Boards admin is on holiday untill end of next week. If you don't get any further help on this so please bump this thread next weekend and admin will help you with this.I'm very sorry for this! But it's better to be safe...Yellowdog. Link to comment
debo
I do a lot of looking around in hawaii and know quite a bit..I would say this is the best match for Hilton hawaiian village, but not 100% sure. Hilton is the only RESORT that ever shows up on priceline anyways in marina area as the Prince is listed as a 4 star. I know this is hotwire but they rate hotels similarily. Let us know what happens with it if you choose to try it. Link to comment
Keoni
The Hawaii Prince is not a Resort, is not on the beach (overlooks the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor) so it shouldn't be considered if you hit amentities for beach and resort... I just won the Hawaii Prince on Priceline for $75 per night and this is a great deal as it suits my needs but is no comparison for the HHV ... say at $110 or $120 per night but these rates for the HHV are almost never won.Regards, Keoni Link to comment
shanek
yellowdog, won't hold you to it, but what hotel do you think it is? it appears like it is HHV, but want to know what you think. THanks Link to comment
