Hotwire Hotel: do prices change?

Hi all,

I'm looking to stay at the Wynn on 4/17-4/19. And i think there's an option for it but it's for $359 a night. I've seen people getting that date for around 140-160 here.

Do the prices change at all or is it fixed for a specific time period. or would it become more expensive as we approach the date.

I haven't looked, but if the posts you mention were not exactly your dates - 4/17-19 - then it really doesn't matter, as rates are date specific - you can see that prices for 4/16-18 are cheaper by a fairly wide margin in comparison to 4/17-19.

Waiting on prices to come down is much like betting in Vegas - you could get some price decline, but if something is going on on these dates - as seems to be, given the high rates - rates may continue to tick higher. Additionally, HOTWIRE listings always have the chance of disappearing if inventory dries up. There's no way of knowing exactly how traffic will play out for a specific city on specific dates.
