slick_gd Posted April 9, 2009 Report Share Posted April 9, 2009 This one also hasn't been reported to the board, but HOTWIRE does mention the tripadvisor traveler review rating of 4/5 based on 180+ reviews with the last review in March 2009.Referencing tripadvisor directly, there is one hotel that matches this rating, the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo.That would be my best guess.If you plan on reserving, help support this site by using this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result. Romelle Posted April 12, 2009 Report Share Posted April 12, 2009 I don't know how much experience you've had with hotels in Europe vs hotels in the US. Very loosely, a 4* in Europe can be more like a 3* in the US. So a 3.5* in Europe would be more like a 2.5* in the US. Just a heads up. You might look on Expedia or one of the similar sites to see roughly what you get for $98, just for another rough check.Romelle Link to comment
