nonbiz_paul Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 I landed The Peabody yesterday for a same-day, 1-nite stay. Winning Priceline bid was $85.Note that this hotel only offers valet parking ($20) and there is mandatory "Hotel Service Fee" of $15 that included internet access.Out the door with taxes looks like this:Room $85 + 19.03 = $104.03Parking $20 + 1.30 = 21.03Service Fee $15 + .98 = 15.98Total: $141.04I'm not complaining, but I've done much better for Orlando in the past. If I needed to be in the Convention Center area on business, this would be great, but that's not the case.(Lost bids were $70 and $80 for WDW Vicinity.)
yellowdog Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 Thank you for sharing your win with the board :) Yes, it's a bummer with parking and resort fee at $35. Many hotels make an extra buck like this. But you gotta love the ducks :)Yellowdog.
