As with any reservation, you should call the hotel to let them know that you'll be ariving late. I would do this once you win your bid and then again the day before or morning of arrival to make sure a note is in the system indicating your late arrival.

This is important as after a certain time the hotel may assume that you're a "no show" and if they're otherwise sold-out, will attempt to re-sell your room to any walk-ins.
