I'm bidding for a 3* hotel in Buffalo - Niagara Falls for two nights.

Startdate is 07/04/09 (Independence Day).

Do you know if the prices are higher on that day??

My last bid of $ 85 was rejected by Priceline.

Prices do appear high for 7/4 and more reasonable for 7/5; you're probably running into problems due to 7/4. HOTWIRE has a 3* for $103 for these dates on the Canada side, but hotels on the NY are pretty pricey. In terms of regular rates, the cheapest 3* on the NY side is $200 on Orbitz (the Holiday Inn.)

What would be your budget per night for these dates?

I don't know of any issues, but this should probably be something that you research on your own first before committing to a non-refundable hotel.

It looks like the Ramada Plaza Fallsview has been downgraded to 3*. So that would be my best guess.

TripAdvisor rating say 4/5 with 160 reviews. So i would say that this is a safe bet.

I won the hotel on Hotwire.

It's the Ramada Plaza Fallsview.

Hotel rate per night - Hotwire hot Rate: $105.00

Nights: 2

Rooms: 1

Subtotal: $210.00

Tax recovery charges and fees: $33.36

Total price: $243.36
