Priceline Hotel: Help needed NYC 5/4 - 5/14 anything under $90

Hello! I'm new to this board and Priceline. I have tried for days to get any hotel, even 2,5* anywhere in Manhattan but maybe my stay is too long - 10 days? Should I split it? If so, then how? The weekend with lower prices (5/8 - 5/10) is right in the middle of the stay... should I split it in three?

Generally, I would prefer ESB or CPS 3,5* but this seems impossbile for 10 days, so I would appreciate any help for getting any hotel above 2,5* and under $90/night.

Welcome to the site. I think the issue is definitely that you are staying 10 straight days. I would first attempt to split the stay in two if possible (5/4-9, then 5/9-14), but if that doesn't work and you're okay with three (5-4-8, 5-8-10, 5-10-14), then that is fine.

Downtown is likely going to be your best bet for a cheaper rate, although it's certainly not centrally located, and - from a tourist perspective - Midtown is the best choice. However, if it's about keeping it less expensive, downtown may work well for your needs. While you may prefer a certain area, I think to get something under $90, you're going to have be flexible.

The first four nights appear to be the most difficult. Hotel 30/30 is showing for $112 on Quikbook.com for 5/4-8. HOTWIRE also has a 2.5* Boutique in the CP area (likely the Marrakech) for $114 for 5/4-8.

Possibly attempt to find a cheaper 2.5* for the second half, which would allow you to go higher for the first half? Optimally, you could find a 3/2.5* for the second half for $80, which would allow you the flexibility to go to $100 (if need be) for the first half and still average at $90.
