thereuare Posted September 6, 2004 Report Posted September 6, 2004 What cities/town make up Little Five Points? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
stan1162 Posted September 7, 2004 Author Report Posted September 7, 2004 Sorry- Its in Atlanta. On Mapquest, it appears just south of Emory University. To the east of Atalnta central...On Priceline it appears it's in none of the "shaded" areas. Here is a link of the map/streets...Decatur/Northlake maybe Midtown???http://www.l5p.com/areamap.html
thereuare Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 Using THIS MAP (zoom out 2 boxes once it loads) it appears that Decatur is a bit too far east (and no easy highway to go west).Looks like you'll be driving no matter what and the Dowtown and/or Midtown zones are you best bet.... but i'm not local to the area and have only come to that conclusion from the maps above (read: doublecheck! :) ) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
stan1162 Posted September 7, 2004 Author Report Posted September 7, 2004 Thanks for your help. My husband is taking my daughter shopping in Atlanta (malls and thrift stores) so they will be driving most places. We usually stay in Buckhead, and maybe thats where they'll decide to anyway. Or maybe Downtown/Midtown. If the Braves are home, they might catch a game too. I'll still welcome any locals advice for sure!! Will post Priceline results no matter where they decide to stay.
