The Amenities listed are below. The hotel did not come up first when I put in 2 kids. I'm not concerned with the rooms. Most of the standard rooms are double beds. There was a special rate on mousesavers.com for 129.00 + tax, but I wanted to save a little more. I took a chance, but I save 339+ over the cost of both rooms! For a 4.5 star hotel/resort we should not have any issues. Thanks for this website, I was able to get good information and make an informed decision. Thanks to everyone for there comments.

From my other post, I save with booking the tradewinds island resort for three nights at 85.00 and now the Gaylord Palms for 91.00! What a savings!

We just got back from our first trip to the Gaylord Palms. It was probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at in Orlando, and I've stayed at:

Wilderness Lodge

Animal Kingdom Lodge

Omni (also awesome!)

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress

Hilton @ Disney Village

Ritz Carlton & JW Marriott @ Grande Lakes (either best or 2nd best place in Orlando)

On Thursday, when we checked in, I gave the check-in lady a $20 and asked if she had any upgrades available? She put us in a 6th floor atrium view overlooking the alligator feeding area. A definite SCORE!

You will LOVE this place! Have a blast, and try the $20 upgrade bribe trick. I've heard about it on here before, but this was the first time I ever tried it.
