Thanks for the help thereuare! My sister & brother in law and there 17 year old will be staying at the mirage those days for the 17 year olds baseball tournament. I was hoping to find a good deal on one near the mirage, either T.I. or across the street at Imperial palace or Harrahs or Flamingo. Tough to find good deals being there on weekend . Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

QUICKBOOK has the Imerpial Palace for your dates for $62/$90/$90 which given it's location and price may work out well for you. (please use the above link if you choose to book this thru them)

Booking the above rate has (i believe, double-check) a $10 cancellation fee, so if it's your best option at the moment it may be worthwhile locking in the rate while you continue to look if anything better comes along.

Given current rates at the few properties i've looked at for these dates, Thursday at the IP seems to be an 'ok' deal (i think you can get a better hotel for a little more money, although it obviously means you'll have to change hotels, which may or may not be an option for you), but the $90 rate for Friday and Saturday nites seem to be a very good deal/value. If changing hotels is a possibility you could book something else for Thursday nite and the above for Friday and Saturday nite.

Any questions/comments feel free to ask.

Thanks for all your help. I think I will book that thru the link you provided and if I find a better deal I will just pay the 10 dollar cancellation fee. I will keep looking and will let you know what I end up doing. Thanks again

Ive found this 3 star hotel on the strip for $104 a nite also has a check mark best value. The amenities are Casino, Restraunt, Pool, Fitness center, Spa services. Just curious as to which hotel this might be didnt see it on your list. If you know which one it might be appreciate the help. thanks

Unfortunately this hotel has not yet been identified.... and without an educated guess as to it's id i wouldn't consider it.

Besides being more expensive than your back-up reservation, Hotwire considers the Holiday Inn, Excalibur, Circus Circus, and other such hotels as 3*... i would take the IP over any of them. More important is that the Hotwire strip zone extends all the way down the strip... down by the Circus Circus and Stratosphere area. Buying totally opaque there would be too much risk of ending up in that 'out of the way' part of the zone.

(however, continue to check.... rates in Vegas can sometimes change very quick)

For instance, i see Bally's available for the first nite of your stay at $79/nite. It is probably worth $17 more than the Imperial Palace, but then Bally's rate jumps to $179/nite the last two nites of your stay :) Probably not worth splitting your stay for just one nite at Bally's... but things could change going forward so always worth keeping an eye out. The Flamingo currently averages out to $133/nite, but in my opinion is not worth $50 more per nite than the IP (especially if not in the heart of the summer where the pool area would be more important)
