Hi!!!

This is my first post.

I am planning a 1 week vacation in Hawaii if my wife in October (probably from th 15th to the 22nd). Since this will be my first time in Hawaii, I would like to know if in a one week period, a should consider visiting other islands or I should concentrate in Ohau?!

And secon, in Honolulu I was thinking about staying in Waikiki beach, possibly in a 4* hotel (resort) but my max is US 125.00, dou you think it is possible?!?

Well, many thanks!

Rgds.

There are many things to do in Oahu and personally I think 7 days is good for Oahu. The good thing about staying ont he Waikiki beach is you have access right across from the beach if not the beach. You walk down the street and there are shops and things going on every evening. I am not sure if you like it busy or not, if you do then you will like staying on waikiki beach.

I have been to Maui twice and Oahu once, and going back to Oahu this June and I just ran into this great forum and priceline. I can't believe the deals people have been getting using this as a resource. I for one could have saved a lot money, but lesson learned:) I will be sure to use the links when doing your bidding to support this site, a great tool!

If possible to do a 9-10 day trip i would try to do 5 days on Oahu and 5 days on another island, but if you only have a weeek, then i would choose one place and just take it easy.

Best way to describe Waikiki is that it's a city with a beach... so you have all the "busy-ness" of a city, but at the same time you have a beautiful beach with people surfing (as well as walking down the city streets with surfboards in tow)

You're probably in the right ballpark for a 4* or Resort property.

Let us know once your plans are firm and your ready to move forward and we'll take a closer look at rates for your dates and your options.

Sorry, but I have one more question.

To get a good price for october, is it better begin betting now (6 months in advance) or closer to the trip is better (august or september)??

Thanks again.
