Priceline Hotel: Help with 4* LA - Downtown (Omni hotlel)

Hello:

I would like to stay two nights (April 5 to 7) in Downtown LA at the Omni Hotel. I've stayed at the Westin and am not impressed. Any suggestions on bidding strategy to get the Omni instead of the Westin?

You can't target a specific hotel on PRICELINE. I belive HOTWIRE is a better option for you. The board can sometimes ID the hotels before you decide to book them. Take a look at HOTWIRE and post back with your thoughts.

To expand upon yellowdog's comments, with PRICELINE you can't target, or avoid, any hotel in the zone that meets the minimum star rating that you've selected. With HOTWIRE, you can take an educated guess as to the property you will receive, or at least know what it isn't (ie- if the property you're trying to avoid doesn't have a pool and the HOTWIRE offering shows a pool icon, you can 'know' that you won't be receiving the hotel you're trying to avoid)
