Started bidding yesterday at $50 for 4* and 3.5* in loop and NMA area.

First time in Chicago, I hope the Hotel Blake is a decent hotel within walking distance of the downtown attractions.

The Blake used to be a Hyatt several years ago, then it was renovated and - after a couple of different plans (it was going to be apartments at one point) it became the Blake.

You'll find that the hotel is one of the closer ones to the Museum Campus, and is not far from the Sears Tower or Art Institute. However, it's definitely a trek to Michigan Ave. The area around the Blake will also likely be pretty quiet at night - if you plan to stay out late, I'd cab back.
