hello

i never bid on PRICELINE and/or HOTWIRE.

we are 2 adults with 2.5 years old baby boy.

we would like to stay in the center like time square or the empire buling in a 3.5* or 4* hotel from the 14th to the 19th of april.

1. what is the evarge price to win?

2. as i understand from pricline website, if you win they charge you right away, did i have to choose from a list of hotels or they show you only one choice?

3. i also understand that they give you option only for 2 adults, so how can i care for a crib for the baby? is tat PRICELINE obligation or the hotel?

Every help will get accepted sincerely.

thank you

Welcome to the site.

1. The average price differs depending on the dates.

2. Which PRICELINE zones are you interested in bidding on?

3. What is your max budget for hotel per night?

4. You do not choose with PRICELINE. You select an area and a star rating. If your bid is accepted by a hotel in that area that is that star rating, you are automatically booked at that hotel - there's no choosing which hotel you want.

5. A crib is something that you are going to have to ask for at the hotel, and I do not believe they are not guaranteed to have one available.

and there are some NYC hotel rooms would not be able to accomodate a crib.

HOTWIRE would be a safer bed if you search fro 2adults/1children, otherwise it's a calculated risk, which only you can decide if you're willing to take or not.

Also, as you're new to PRICELINE and HOTWIRE, this is a good thread to read if you haven't seen it yet:

I've Never Used Priceline or Hotwire

Thank you for sharing your win with the board.

The Algonquin is a historic hotel with a lot of character and long history. However, the rooms are notoriously small so i would recommend calling the hotel and checking on the availabilty of a crib and if one will fit in their standard rooms.

Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding.

Enjoy your stay.

Thanks for the clarification.

Every win in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins requires it's own topic, if you post your friend's win as a NEW TOPIC we'll make sure it appears in the calendar.

When requesting for help for others, please be sure to pass along to those who will be making the actual purchase to stop by here and use our PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin their purchase.

Thanks.
