DevelopingAtlanta Posted March 30, 2009 Report Posted March 30, 2009 just figured I would start at $70 to "get er done" and it worked...Also, does anyone know how priceline works if one 4* is taking bids at $55 (grand Hyatt) and another hotel that is nicer and newer across the street (buckhead intercontinental) is taking bids of only $70ish, does priceline always put you with the cheaper of the two and keep the spread? any strategies on getting the nicer hotel in a submarket? or is this just a hotwire situation and shouldnt try on priceline?thanks and keep up the good work,
DevelopingAtlanta Posted March 30, 2009 Author Report Posted March 30, 2009 Just got the Grand Hyatt in Atlanta, Buckhead zone...just figured I would start at $70 to "get er done" and it worked...However, does anyone know how priceline works if one 4* is taking bids at $55 (Grand Hyatt) and another hotel that is nicer and newer across the street (buckhead intercontinental) is taking bids of only $70ish, does priceline always put you with the cheaper of the two and keep the spread? any strategies on getting the nicer hotel in a submarket? or is this just a hotwire situation and shouldnt try on priceline?Because I would have paid a bit more, but don't know if that helps or hurts...thanks and keep up the good work,
