boddicker52 Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 Accepted at the above price for this Summer. Las Vegas cars are notoriously cheap compared to Phoenix. Thanks.
thereuare Posted March 30, 2009 Report Posted March 30, 2009 Thanks for sharing your PRICELINE win with the board.Car rental rates in Vegas are generally very low, and with the current economy and low occupancy rates in Vegas, rates have been even lower... unfortunately no break on the taxes and airport fees :)Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding. mikeymars Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 Accepted at the above price for this Summer. Las Vegas cars are notoriously cheap compared to Phoenix. Thanks.Great price - I put the same bid ($15/day) into PRICELINE today for a compact in LAS for eight days in July and got turned down. System keeps telling me I should go up to the $21 range, which frankly isn't much of a deal compared to a direct booking. From what I've been reading so far, winning car rental bids on Priceline for a given area seem to vary quite a bit; whatever dynamics are driving them seem to be volatile.
