Can you help me ID this please? I have been reading these boards for days, but am unsure of this one. Amenities:

boutique

non-smoking

fitness

restaurant

$69

Or would this be much better:

Same location, 3.5*

boutique

fitness

restaurant

business center

internet

golf

tennis

spa

$119 - Is this Hotel Indigo?

We are 2 adults with 3 (grown) children. When I request 2 rooms for 5 people I only receive 2 choices that are more expensive than these hotels. When I put in 4 people I have 7 choices in the area I am interested in. Could it be that the rooms are too small to accommodate 3 people so I really need to request for 5 people or risk having a problem? None of them will share a bed so we need 2 beds + sofa sleeper or rollaway.

Thank you for your help!

If you absolutely/100% have to have two beds, you do have to choose 2 rooms/5 people. If you search for 2 rooms/4 people, the prices are going to be cheaper, but you are not guaranteed two beds - you can potentially work it out with the hotel, but it is not guaranteed and you are taking your chances.

The first listing you mention would appear to be the Tremont, which I wouldn't recommend. The second listing (3.5*) would appear to be a match for the Indigo, which I definitely would recommend.

Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase, and let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you so much for your reply. I just checked again, and 3 hours later, the Tremont (which I wouldn't stay at thanks to your feedback) has gone from $69 to $294! How is that even possible?! (I don't really need an answer to this - just found it incredible!) Also, now the Indigo has gone to $192 if I request 4 people and to $209 with 5. This is all very interesting.

I think I will continue to watch Hotwire rates for a few more days, then book something - through your wonderful, helpful site of course.

Prices jumping that much is quite unusual - are you sure you were looking at the same dates on the first try?

The other issue during these dates that I forgot about when I initially replied is a major convention, which is happening that weekend - that is likely going to be taking up a lot of rooms, but prices have already been high for those dates for a while now.

Now that I think about it, for there to be such a huge price difference, I may have put in the wrong dates the first time. Thank you for taking the time to reply!
