ommc
Hi,I'm new to this forum and I was wondering whether you guys could help me...I booked a one bedroom hotel suite at the Affinia Manhattan for 5/21-5/27 for an average rate of $180 + tax...Now, I'm not complaining about the price, just that I would like to find something cheaper in central Manhattan...I did a search for hotels in these dates and I found some cheaper hotels. Can you guys help me idtentify them?3.5-star hotel in Chelsea - Madison Square Garden Area (fitness center, restaurant, business center and high speed internet) for $1033.5-star hotel in Midtown Central (fitness center, restaurant and high speed internet) for $1223.5-star hotel in Midtown East (restaurant, business center and high speed internet) for $135 3-star hotel in Times Square - Theatre District (fitness center, restaurant and high speed internet) for $143any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated... Thanks :) Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! In addition to the above, i'm seeing a 4* on HOTWIRE in the MTE zone for $134/nite which is a match for the Inter-Continental Barclay... this is not only higher rated but also cheaper than some of the lower rated hotels you've posted above? Thougths on this offer?Best guess for the others you inquired above are as follows:3.5-star hotel in Chelsea - Madison Square Garden AreaDoubletree Chelsea3.5-star hotel in Midtown CentralClub Quarters Midtown3.5-star hotel in Midtown East (not sure... but doesn't appar worthwhile investigaing wit the higher rated and lower prices MTE property above)3-star hotel in Times Square - Theatre District Hilton Garden Inn Times Square OR Washington JeffersonMy choice(s) would either be the 4* Inter-Continental or if you'd prefer to save money the less expensive Doubletree Chelsea which hasn't even officially opened yet, so would be a brand new hotel. Please remember to use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin any purchases you make.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
