I may need to return our rental car two days early. I understand that I cannot get a refund on those days. However, I'm wondering if there a fee for returning the car two days early? Would I need to check directly with the rental car agency or is that a priceline issue? Thanks.

When you book directly with a car rental company they can, and usally will, reset your rate to the actual dates that you rented (so if you booked at a weekly rate and return the car early which would make you ineligible for the weekly rate, your price would be recalculated to the daily rental rate... which usally ends up being more expensive than a weekly rental, even though it's for fewer days)

With a PRICELINE and HOTWIRE reservation you should be able to return the car early with no additional fee. This isn't to say that the rental company may not try to assess a fee, but as per the terms of both PRICELINE and HOTWIRE it states that you can return your car early and won't be given a refund for those dates... nothing regarding an early return fee.
