Paolo Maldini Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 My plan is driving from LA to Vegas, then Grand Canyon, then Vegas, and back to LA. So I'd like to experience two different hotels for the two nights. As it's my first time to Vegas, I chose the best location Strip North/South. First bid for Strip South was successful, and I won Planet Hollywood. For the second day, I tried to target TI but failed. Anyway, Luxor is good for me.Did anyone succesfully play the $20 trick in the above hotels? I do appreciate it if you could share your experience. My best regards to all the guys who contributed in this board. I did learn a lot, and save a lot!

steveman Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 congrats on your $50 Planet Hollywood. I thought Planet Hollywood was considered "Center Strip", it apparently has been relocated to South Strip?
thereuare Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 This was a PRICELINE purchase, which doesn't use a Centrla strip zone, they divide this area into North Strip / South Strip.HOTWIRE is the service that uses North / Central / South Strip zones. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. TC Truong Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 Sorry for the trouble. Thank you for editing the post! That is one heck of a price for Planet Hollywood! I love the location and the hotel! I consider it Central Strip too but Priceline breaks it down as South Strip. And I thought I had a really good price on Priceline @ Planet Hollywood (2/6/09-2/8/09) for $52/night on a Fri/Sat. They end up charging you like all these resort fees or something and out the door was about $65/night. They do say you get unlimited bottle water & just call house keeping for it. It's good for those hangover days/nights. :) Enjoy!
