Hotwire Hotel: 4* Vancouver (Downtown West) Westin Bayshore

This is my first time using this site. I am trying to book a hotel for Vancouver West April 1-5th. Right now there is a 5* which is the Sutton Place but a new 4* just came up for $70 that I cannot figure out (note:No pool).

The amenities are:

Smoke Free Rooms

Fitness Center

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-speed Internet Access

Unfortunately this property has not yet been identified. However, if you change your search to 3adults/0chldren a 'different' 4* is shown in this zone for $86/nite with:

Restaraunt, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Tennis, Spa

This is a match for the Westn Bayshore so that would be my best guess. It is a little more than the $70 offering when searching for only double occupancy, but if you're looking for alternatives, this is an option.

That is really helpful. Any reason why it is that it would only come up with 3 adutls? Seems odd.

Any sense of whether things get less expensive as you get nearer to your arrival date? I am just wondering if I should book now or if more options would likely come available.

HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level in each zone (the lowest priced offering). The first hotel which appears when searching for double occupancy may not be offering their property (or that rate) for more than double occupancy... so when searching for more than double occupancy this alternate hotel becomes the least expensive offering in this zone at this star level.

Nobody can say if rates will go down... or up... between now and your stay; it all depends upon how actual bookings and cancellations come in relative to expectations. EasyClickTravel has the Marriott Pinnacle for $71/night on your dates. It's possible that this is the 4* hotel you saw in your Hotwire search.

Can you please add a reply to this thread indicating if you bought the property when the 'full' amenities appeared for quad occupancy OR if you booked the original property with just 5 amenity icons (and double occupancy)

I booked this hotel when I search under 3 adults and 0 children with the 'full' amenities. It did not appear under single or double occupancy.
