merlin666
After getting a rental car, this was my first successful bid for a hotel. I had targeted the Outrigger Keauhou as this was the only 3* listed for Kona, and started bidding at $74, which is about half their regular posted rate. I was not happy when this bid was accepted for the Royal Kona which is listed above at 2.5*. I really wanted to avoid this property because of the inner city location and there will be extra costs for parking and breakfast. Good thing it's only for one night. The posted rated for the Royal Kona is $105, so I started bidding way too high. Please correct the 2.5* rating to 3* in your PRICELINE list. Link to comment

bluedog925
I stayed at the Royal Kona years ago when it was still a Hiltonand my friend and I loved the location since we could walk to town at nightWe really enjoyed this property a lot and they've remodeled certaintowers in the hotel. Just be glad it wasn't theKing Kamehameha, since I've read horrid reviewsabout that joint. Link to comment
