1ns2wo
Hi,I just realised that I have a typo in my Billing Name. Now I'm a bit worried that the transaction will be rejected by my bank. I allready tried changing my billing name for the confirmed reservation via the priceline-hotline but there they told me that they aren't able to change that once the booking is confirmed! So who is going to charge my credit card - Priceline or the hotel?thx Link to comment

1ns2wo
Hi, sorry i took me so long to answer and that I did not include these information in my first post. I won the bid for the Grand hyatt (4 star) in NYC (Midtown east) at $110 pr. night from 2.apr. - 7.apr.(5 nights). The typo in billing name by the way is only that the last to letters of my first name are missing (everthing else is correct). Normaly I think this shouldn't cause any problems, still I would like to fix this in order to avoid any trouble. Thx for your help Link to comment
yellowdog
1ns2wo,You pay the hotel to PRICELINE. So the hotel is pre-paid when you arrive. If you don't charge anything to the room like, parking, food, resort fee etc, are you set to go when your stay is over.Sorry, but I can't answer abut how your bank will handle this. The billing name can you change under "my profile" at PRICELINE for future staysYellowDog. Link to comment
1ns2wo
Alright thats what I thought. But at least now I can tell my bank about it so they know the transaction is genuine! Thx again Link to comment
thereuare
If you won the hotel the transaction has already cleared any hurdles your bank sets up to detect fraud and i don't see any reason why anyone would look another look at the transaction to potential cancel it. If you did want to contact your bank, as noted above, the charge would come thru from PRICELINE.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your future travel purchases.
