I'm looking at a 4* in Downtown Vancouver West for 07/29/2009-08/02/2009. Based on what I have seen, it appears to be the Westin Bayshore. It is coming up on Hotwire at $96 a night--would it be prudent to book now or should I wait? Part of me thinks that these rooms will disappear quickly in the summer.

See the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ.

What is the hotel direct price for this property on your dates?

If you want to target this particular property then HOTWIRE would be the better route, but if you would be happy with any 4* in the zone then you can try for a better rate by bidding on PRICELINE. If you're ready to commit now and you'd like to try bidding let us know and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow.

I also won this hotel on priceline for just a little more... $86. It seems like that is what priceline has been giving people lately. Your choice whether you want to book through PRICELINE or HOTWIRE. Priceline can give you anything in the star range but this hotel has been coming up frequently.
