armywife85 Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 Hi, guys! You have helped me so much already in the past couple of weeks and now I have a question that I can't find.My question is this. Do the Hotwire prices go down as your dates of travel get closer? If I wait til later to book, could I get a better deal?I am looking at a 3.5* in the Universal area. Amenities are:Fitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterLaundry FacilitiesHigh-speed Internet Access$77/nt (that's today's price, yesterday was $80)TripAdvisor Rating is 4.5/5 with 400+ reviews.I have already pinned it as the Crowne Plaza at Universal, which would be wonderful. My husband is military, so I can't really book anything until he knows for sure he's ok to go. So I have to wait to book. But obviously, I can't wait too long!If I do book it, and he is unable to go, can I sell the reservation to someone else and just let the hotel know that someone else will be there? Thanks in advance!ps - if I do book, I will definitely use your HOTWIRE link...
