i read the winning bid on Sheraton Bloomington and just jumped to the $45.00 price and airport mall of america area. For Friday 3/27/2009. Bang I got this dumpy place which I found out charges you $10/ day to park there, versus free at many other hotels especially Bloomington Sheraton which I generally have it. I am currently trying to opt out or re bid for another place due to the hotel emailing me that there is no free parking unless you book through them the park & fly package ONLY. I am trying to save the money by booking the hotel and parking for free, versus closer to $100.00 for a week at the airport.

Have you tried calling the hotel and letting them know that you just received the hotel thru HOTWIRE and your plans have changed, so is there any way to upgrade to a Park N Fly package by paying the different between the hotel's current rate vs. their park n fly rate. I would see if they're willing to work with you at all in that regard.

If you're trying to target, or avoid, a specific hotel, HOTWIRE can often be a better option than PRICELINE if you're able to identify the property beforehand based upon the amenities shown.
