cougarram Posted March 18, 2009 Report Share Posted March 18, 2009 Won the Doubletree Hotel Anaheim/Orange County after three bid attempts for 3.5*...$46, $48, and finally won with $50.Used the free re-bids.Kind of bummed because I was hoping for the Hyatt Regency Orange County or Crowne Plaza for this stay. I had not even seen the Doubletree won at all recently. We stayed at this hotel for our last Disneyland trip four years ago and it was perfect for just us as a couple, but now we are bringing our kids and a few other relatives and not excited about only the double beds or single king rooms. I was pretty sure that this was only a 3 star but must have upgraded recently. I am pleased with the $50 price, but was surprised when it came up as our hotel. Oh well, thanks again to the website! Total cost was $233 for two rooms/two nights.I used the PRICELINE link Link to comment

This hotel was upgraded as early as Januay of this year... always check the Priceline Hotel List before bidding for any 'known' upgrades/downgrades.At least you got a nice price and hopefull you'll use some of savings for something fun to do as a family :)Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay.
