Emmamme Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 I first started looking at Hotwire on a friend's suggestion for a surprise treat for my best friend. We're wanting one night of luxury (at affordable prices). Then I started thinking of possibly using hotwire for the rest of the stay in Vegas also.... but I don't want to go in completely blind-folded.Please Help! For the one night of luxury I've found for 21st April, a 5* hotel on the Central strip for 176 USD (for three people as another friend may be joining us), with the following amenities: Casino, Fitness Centre, Pool(s), Restaurants, Business Centre, High speed internet and golf and tennis nearby. Is this the Wynn? How does this hotel compare to the Venetian (one of the hotels I've been considering)For the previous three nights I found a 3* on North Strip for 59USD per night (for three people) with the following amenities: Resort, Casino, Fitness centre, Pool, Restaurants, laundry facilities, Golf nearby and Spa services.... Is this the Stratosphere? I hope so as we've been looking at that!Also.... for the same three nights for two people I found a three start central strip hotel for 99USD. With the following amenities:Casino, Fitness, pool, restaurants, business centre, internet, and Spa and for 59USD a 3* in North Strip with the following amenities: Casino, fitness, pool, and golf.Thanking you in anticipationEm

meggieprice Posted March 18, 2009 Report Posted March 18, 2009 We had a person join us for two nights of our recent stay in Vegas and we asked for a rollaway bed and they did not even charge us (Planet Hollywood). It is significantly different price. If I were you I would go for all four nights in a really nice place. Or at least two nights- I found with our one night at the Venetian we chacked in and one night goesa so fast- then we had to check out.I can see a five star for all four of your nights for $126 a night. That's pretty good considering if it the WYnn or Venetian they are both awesome.
Emmamme Posted March 22, 2009 Author Report Posted March 22, 2009 OK - I just got the Stratosphere for the first two nights of our stay. Thanks to betterbidding I was pretty confident that's what I was getting. So it's $45 per night for three people sharing on 19th and 20th AprilThere's just going to be two of us for the following three nights.(21-24th April)I've just found the following: 5* hotel, central strip for $108per nightCasinoFitnessPoolRestaurantsBusinessGolfTennisSpaIs this the Wynn??? I'm kinda hoping for the Venetian though.... is that likely to come up on HOTWIRE? What would the difference be?Thanks
