dnawaa Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 First PRICELINE bid of $75 accepted, used link from this site.Subtotal: $150.00Taxes & fees: $25.412-night Total: $175.41Had booked the room through the Best Western website with the Government rate (cheapest they offered at the time, $119 per night +taxes). That rate has now gone up to $130 per night! I figured 1/2 the basic rate of $149 would be a screaming deal. Perhaps I could have gotten a lower rate accepted, but I saved almost $90 by bidding on Priceline, so I'm happy!I'm surprised it was accepted, as WWU is having a "preview" weekend. That's why we're going, and I would have thought the hotels would be full by now. Lucky us! This looks like a really nice hotel from the pictures on the hotel website.
