MSE Follower Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 With three free rebids available, my bidding went $60 (rejected), $75 (counteroffer add $22), $77 (rejected), $80 (rejected).Wait 24 hours, then bid $82 -- accepted. All my bids were made using the Betterbidding link to PRICELINE.One thing I am not sure about: if you book this hotel on a regular site such as Expedia, they impose a $14 resort fee explained as follows:The following mandatory hotel-imposed fees are charged and collected by the hotel either at check-in or check-out. # Hotel resort fee: $14 per room/nightHotel resort fee inclusions: * Two bottles of bottled water per room/night * Local and 1-800 calls * 10-percent off merchandise in gift shop, golf, and tennis pro shop * Use of in-room safe and refrigerator * Self and valet parkingWould this also apply to Priceline customers? Is it even permissible under Priceline terms and conditions to add extra fees at the hotel front desk? Many thanks for advice.
