esatchen Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 I tried $57, 58, 60 as my prices last Thursday. But none of them has been accepted.I did not want to spend more than $60 on 4* hotel in the Millennium Park area.So I gave up my bidding last Thursday. After 24 hours, I received an e-mail from priceline. The letter told me I might get a bid for $60 if I tried again.I tried again on Saturday. My first bid was accepted at $57!I think ....never give up on biding the same price and set up your own range might be a good strategy.DetailsCheck-In Date: Thursday, March 27, 2009Check-Out Date: Friday, March 31, 2009Hotel Name: Hyatt Regency Chicago151 East Wacker DriveChicago, Illinois 60601Your Offer Price: $57.00Number of Rooms: 1Number of Nights: 4Subtotal: $57.00*4Taxes and Service Fees: $16.14*4Total Charges*: $73.14*4
