npaden Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 It's funny because I was hoping for Ventian or Bellagio and have been searching the last couple days and then today the 5 star on the central strip showed up without the golf ammenity on the dates I was wanting to book so I jumped on it.Price was right in line with with what I was seeing before and it still ended up being the Wynn. Still not a bad hotel for $153/night for the weekend that most of the hotels are charging a premium on. I started out looking at Paris and they were $330 on Saturday 4/25 on their reservation site.I did use the HOTWIRE links from this site and appreciated the input from everyone.I ended up booking the Wynn from 4/24 to 4/27 for $153/night. The ammenities shown were: casino, fitness, pool, restraunt, buisness & spa. I really thought I had a good chance at the Ventian or Bellagio with those amenities shown, but like you said, it's not a guarantee.Thanks for the site!

I bit because I wanted a 5 star on the strip but what did I get? (I was hoping for The Wynn.) Thehotel about 3 miles from the area that the actual strip is on. VERY disappointed, not because of the hotel but because of the location. Three miles from the strip is not the strip in my opinion.
