michimike Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 Actually this is a 2 part question: There is one non-stop flight a day each way between my destinations, but multiple options with a connection. Priceline says they check non-stops first, but do they actually fill those seats first?Secondly, are all the open seats on aircraft available to priceline?I want the non-stop flights back and forth and the connecting flights would arrive too late. There are plenty of empty seats on both flights. If I bid will I get on the non-stop?Thanks from first time poster.
thereuare Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding! You can't count on non-stop flights on your PRICELINE bid. Even if the "retail" price for the non-stop and direct flights is the same you don't know know what the "opaque" rate for each is, and this doesn't sound like it would be a good option for an opaque purchase, imo. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
