Does priceline always fill will non-stop flights first?

Actually this is a 2 part question: There is one non-stop flight a day each way between my destinations, but multiple options with a connection. Priceline says they check non-stops first, but do they actually fill those seats first?

Secondly, are all the open seats on aircraft available to priceline?

I want the non-stop flights back and forth and the connecting flights would arrive too late. There are plenty of empty seats on both flights. If I bid will I get on the non-stop?

Thanks from first time poster.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

You can't count on non-stop flights on your PRICELINE bid. Even if the "retail" price for the non-stop and direct flights is the same you don't know know what the "opaque" rate for each is, and this doesn't sound like it would be a good option for an opaque purchase, imo.
