Totally used your HOTWIRE link and many thanks to you and other contributors to this forum for all the great advice.PS What I read here and the TripAdvisor reviews for the Wyndham Garden Midtown sold me - they were actually much better than a lot of the reviews for 4* hotels in NYC avail thru HOTWIRE and PRICELINE.
