reid77 Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 OK, better late than never. Here's the scoop on our stay. Overall, a very good value. The included, made-to-order breakfast in the morning was a big plus. The "room" was a roomy two-room suite with a couch (containing a pull-out bed) table, small refrigerator and sink. No, there was no kitchenette, so don't arrive expecting that (as we did.) Things were reasonably quiet, but this hotel seems to get a lot of family traffic and not a whole lot of corporate traffic, at least on the weekends. It looked like we were sharing the facility with at least one wedding party, some promgoers, family vacationers and some college students on break. The bed was nice and fluffy, with lots of pillows and what felt like high thread-count sheets. Not necessarily a "heavenly bed " but pretty close. In terms of location, this property is actually within walking distance of the Dunwoody MARTA station, but given the maddening car-orientation of everything in Atlanta (including the public transport!) you'll be trudging across a large parking lot if you choose to arrive this way. There's also a Starbucks and UA theatre complex in walking distance, but again, it wasn't designed with foot traffic in mind.
