jgodic Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 After trying unsuccessfully to bid up to $70 over the past few days, my $55 bid was accepted today for two rooms from 4/9-4/12
beachguy Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 That strikes me as very good, especially as I just went up to $90 using the progressive bidding method, with my focus being a resort in Phoenix North, and nothing was accepted (also for April). Can anyone comment on why some bids are first declined and then accepted, and then a higher bid is rejected at a later time? I suppose it has something to do with room availability, or the number of rooms they're setting aside for outside vendors (Priceline, etc.).In any case, way to go!
